In 2026, the Business Partnership Facility (BPF) celebrates a significant milestone: 10 years of partnership, innovation and impact.

The BPF supports partnerships between European companies and local stakeholders to co-develop innovative and practical solutions in developing countries. Since its launch, the BPF has grown into a wellestablished initiative supporting concrete and innovative projects led by the private sector, aimed at testing, adapting and deploying solutions that address local economic, social and environmental challenges. Over the past decade, the BPF has demonstrated the partnerships supported by the BPF have demonstrated their ability to deliver tangible results on the ground.

10 years in a few key figures

In just ten years, the BPF has achieved strong and measurable outcomes:

• Over 50 international projects supported, across a wide range of sectors and in more than 20 countries;
• EUR 15 million mobilised through public and private investment;
• 2,229 jobs created and over 100,000 people reached.

These figures reflect the commitment of BPF partners to developing inclusive, innovative and scalable solutions that contribute to sustainable development.
