BPF: Bold pitches for high-impact ventures

Eight visionary entrepreneurs and their local partners recently took the stage for the latest round of the Business Partnership Facility (BPF). After making it through the pre-selection and submitting a full proposal, they were invited to pitch their high-impact solutions to the Selection Committee.
Representing EU-based enterprises working hand-in-hand with local partners in developing countries, these innovators showcased bold initiatives across sectors such as agriculture, health, and FinTech—all aiming to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Selection Committee—composed of representatives from Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of the Economy, the Chamber of Commerce and LuxDev—praised the quality and ambition of the proposals.
Selected projects will now receive up to EUR 200,000 in co-financing—a powerful boost to move forward.
A big thank you to the Committee members for their support and commitment to this initiative, which demonstrates how entrepreneurial innovation can be a serious driver of sustainable development.
