Challenge
Urban centers in Kosovo face increasing pressure from traffic congestion, lack of real-time environmental monitoring, inefficient public parking systems, and underutilised digital infrastructure. In Prishtina, only 35% of public parking spots are sensor-equipped, and data from smart systems is not yet utilised to manage traffic flows. Public authorities lack access to actionable data to improve service delivery and urban sustainability.
Innovative solution
Cacttus is scaling its AI-powered Smart Pole infrastructure, combining Wi-Fi, environmental sensors, parking data, and emergency response tools into a unified system. The solution acts as a data aggregation platform to serve mobility, health, and agriculture sectors, enabling smart service delivery, new innovations, and systemic urban improvements.
